Visiting Chicago!? Quick Guide to a Getaway to the Stunning Windy City!

I have to say! I'm in Wanderlust with Chicago!

If you're planning an escape to Chicago, get ready to be swept off your feet and I mean it! If you are visiting the city I can say that a 3 day trip is more than enough to visit some fun places!
This Stunning city is brimming with iconic landmarks, cultural gems, and culinary delights that will leave you wanting more!
Here's a curated list of must-visit spots for your quick Chicago Escapade:
1. Go to Millennium Park:
You can definitely Kick off your trip with a visit to Millennium Park, home to the famous Cloud Gate sculpture, known as "The Bean." Yes! be sure to Snap some Insta-worthy photos! We couldn't take picture when we went because the whole area was under construction! Sure next time we will! :)
2. Visit the Navy Pier:
We went to the Navy Pier on a Morning, Walked around and Jumped in to the Ferrys wheel for a Ride! What a breathtaking view of the skyline and Lake Michigan!
Loved the experience!
I was so excited to be there! Funny Story! for those lover of Science Fiction movies you must Know that Chicago was the City were theSeries DIVERGENT took place on, and I yes!
I was obsessed with the books and the movies! I just connected with the Characters and their story at such deep level, and actually that story is why my Blog's Name is Called Divergently Chic!
So you must Know! That being in Chicago was double the excitement for me!

While being on the Pier, you can also head to the children's museum inside or indulge in delicious eats at one of the many waterfront restaurants, you have plenty to chose from to stay at the pier for hours.
3. The Art Institute of Chicago:
if you like art art and culture one of the oldest and largest art museums in the United States is the Art institute of Chicago. From masterpieces by Picasso and Monet to ancient artifacts and contemporary works, this museum offers a captivating journey through human creativity.
4. Magnificent Mile:
Magnificent Mile is Chicago's premier shopping district. You can find upscale boutiques, other stores, and iconic landmarks like the historic Water Tower Place, it's a paradise for fashion enthusiasts.
5. Chicago Riverwalk and Chicago River Architecture Tour:
Make sure to make time to walk along the Chicago Riverwalk. Marvel at the stunning architecture, enjoy al fresco dining at waterfront cafes, and catch a glimpse of iconic landmarks like the Willis Tower and Wrigley Building

If you like Natural history and science or are traveling with the Family you can visit The Field Museum. there you will learn about ancient civilizations, fossils, and the world's largest T. rex skeleton, Sue.
7. Lincoln Park Zoo:
Also a destination for the Family and Kids! Lincoln Park Zoo is one of the last remaining free zoos in the country.
The kids can wander through lush gardens, encounter exotic animals, and enjoy family-friendly attractions and events throughout the year.

Yes! you have to try the in deep-dish pizza, savor authentic Chicago-style hot dogs, and sample ethnic cuisines from around the world in vibrant neighborhoods like Chinatown and Little Italy.
8. Thrilling Sky-High Views: Another Bucket list Must do!
Located on the 103rd floor of the iconic Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower), the Ledge features glass boxes that extend out from the building's facade,.
Stepping onto the Ledge was an exhilarating experience!! Yes! it is kinda scary! But you will be able to see Chicago from a whole new angle, and it is a picture perfect spot!
It is an opportunity to conquer your fear of heights! and experience the thrill of standing over 1,300 feet above the ground!! You will be proud of yourself afterwards! Believe me!
In addition to the stunning views, the Ledge also offers interactive exhibits and informational displays that provide insight into the history, architecture, and engineering of the Willis Tower and Chicago skyline!
I really believe Chicago is a must visit city in the US! Beautiful and so much to do for the family!
