The Spring Reset I Actually Do Every Year (Closet, Life & Energy)

There’s something about March that always makes me pause.
Not in a dramatic way.
Just in that quiet moment where I start noticing:
what feels heavy
what feels outdated
what doesn’t feel like me anymore
And every year, without even planning it, I end up doing the same thing:
A reset.
Not a full life overhaul. Not a “new me” moment.
Just small shifts that make everything feel lighter again.
It Always Starts With My Closet
This is usually the first place I notice it.
I’ll open my closet and immediately feel:
“I don’t want to wear any of this.”
Not because I don’t have clothes.
But because something feels… off.
So I don’t go shopping right away.
I edit first.
I start pulling out pieces that:
feel too heavy
don’t fit the season
don’t match how I want to feel right now
And suddenly, everything becomes clearer.
Then I Add Back Intentionally
This is the part people skip.
They jump straight into buying.
But what actually works is:
Removing first… then choosing better
For me, that usually means:
lighter fabrics
softer tones
pieces that feel effortless
Especially living in Coral Gables, where the lifestyle naturally calls for that.
It’s Not Just About Clothes
This reset always spills into everything else.
My space.My routines.
Even my energy.
I start asking:
what feels aligned?
what feels forced?
And slowly, things shift.
The Energy Shift Is Real
After I do this, I always notice the same thing:
I feel calmer.
Clearer.
More like myself.
And it’s not because everything is perfect.
It’s because everything feels intentional again.
What I Actually Added This Year
This season, I leaned into pieces that feel:
breathable
soft
easy to wear
but still elevated
Things I can wear:
at home
out with the girls
to a showing
or just running errands
Without changing my whole outfit.
My Current Spring Edit
I linked everything I’ve been wearing on repeat lately and things i want to buy! simple pieces that make getting dressed feel easy again.
You’ll see exactly what I mean.
Remember, You don’t need to reinvent yourself every season.
Sometimes you just need to remove what no longer fits…
and make space for what does.
With Love xx
Sasha.
